Details
A new field called Occupation to Export was added to the Record of Employment page.
- If desired you may change the Occupation to Export description that populated from the Assignment Title (you can view an example below).
- When an employee has multiple positions, Sparkrock 2016 looks at the history of when the employee was hired into each position. If it shows an incorrect Assignment Title, you can enter a different Assignment Title to override it.
Note: This is the occupation that will register with Service Canada as the occupation the employee is leaving. - The first example below shows the original line before the Occupation to Export field changes.
- The second example shows the line after the Occupation to Export field edits.

Employees can have casual positions that differ from their full-time position. It is imperative when reviewing the details of the Occupation to Export, that all is correct as it can impact record-keeping at Service Canada.
